No Topic!!!

This is another article which i wrote during my state of dormancy. Here I was suppose to convince the Eskimo to buy my product(ice) in limited words(100 words). Unfortunately the topic of competition was changed a week before the submission date( due to low entry submission). And later I didn't get much time to write anything on the new topic. I took the idea from regular tv shopping ads. And I guess the entry below will look/feel good when one will read taking into consideration the real context(same shrill noise).

Rejuvenation(Crucifixion) of Indian Cricket(er)!!!

The cricketing industry is going through a major change in rule following the ugly and early departure from the world cup. When we look at cricket perspective then the decision seems perfect. But looking at players(only few who got mazor endorsement) perspective it seems they are in deep shit. But eventually when we analyse the rules the scenario is soemthign different. This was the thing which was suppose to come long back. Anyway its still not that late.

The new rules willl make them win matches and perfom better so as to earn money(which they were earning from endorsement) and also to stay in the team. Previously the scenario was totally different. They were getting money by showing there great piece of batting, bowling and fielding ON TV(which was a rare occasion during the match).

Now the new endorsement rule will restrict the player to 3 endorsement max. And also they won't be allowed to go for ads 15 days before the match or during a cricket series. So atleast now, lets hope they will utilize the time to play cricket for which they were getting money(oops.. I forgot that they were getting heavy sum for playing REAL cricket). This decision was followed by harsh comment from cricketers and ad gurus. Few of the comments are as follows(not exactly word by word):

*BCCI is a 4000cr ruppes industry and now they only are denying to give the shares to the player those who are bringing that money.

First thought which came in my mind was, why the BCCI is paying them for? For playing cricket on pitch or for playing cricket on ads. huh.. and now the new rule will make them earn more money(but only if they will be winning) And I guess its a fair rule. No industry pay for junk delivery or bad delivery.

*Another comment(Well i forgot the exact comment but it was something like this only):- you can't restrict or say to a player that he can't have sex more then 3 times a week or something.

hehehe.. what a great comment to make. AS far as i thought I didn't find any correlation between the comment and the endorsement rule.

There were other comments too.. Anyway.. The point is, these people forgot that few cricketers were giving nearly 65 to 70 days in a year for there media schedule. The time which they could have utilized for practice so as to make there performance better. But huh.. in the blind race of signing contracts they forget the real thing.

As per the new rule now the player will be able to earn better. The new rule says:- ODI fee - 1 lakh and TEST fee - 2 lakh(Just for playing) and if they will win the match then they will be earn upto 3.5 times of the match fee. And over this if they win the series they will get more money. But alas there is no rule, what will be done if they will lose the match. No deduction in match fee for loosing. It means for them this is a win-win situation in any case.
कहने का मतलब है कि पांचो उँगलियाँ घी में ओर सर कराही में.

So lets hope for the better cricket from our so called stars whose lights became dim these days. And so forth Indian cricket will touch new heights in the coming years. :)
